1. Explanation

 : '-면/으면 좋겠다.' is an expression that indicates the speaker's hope, desires for a different situation from reality or assumptions. It indicates that an action took place in the past. So, It is used when expressing a wish for something to happen or for a certain situation to occur in the future. It also used when someone wishes for a different situation from reality or expresses assumptions about impossible situations. It is attached after verbs, adjectives and '-이다, 아니다.' '-면 좋겠다.' It conjugates with vowel ending words or consonant 'ㄹ' ending words. However '-으면 좋겠다.' conjugates with consonant ending words. Let's look at examples.
