1. Explanation

 : '-기 때문에' is an expression that indicates reason or casus of something. So, the preceding cluase is the reason or cause of the following clause. This expression is attached after verbs, adjectives, '-이다.', '-아니다.' You don't need to care about ending of syllables. You can conjugates this anytime. Let's look at examples.

 

2. Examples

 아르바이트가 많기 때문에 공부에 집중하기 힘들어요.(Because I do many part-time job, it's hard for me to focus on studying.) 

*많다 many

  1) An adjective stem is '많-'

  2) It conjugates with '-기 때문에'

  3) 많기 때문에

 

 방학이기 때문에 훨씬 여유로워요. (Because it's vacation, I feel much freer.) 

 *이다 be verb

  1) A verb stem is '이-'

  2) It conjugates with '-기 때문에'

  3) 방학이기 때문에

 

 청소기는 시끄럽기 때문에 밤에 사용하면 안 돼요. (Because the vacuum cleaner is noisy, so you shouldn't use it at night.) 

 *시끄럽다 noisy

  1) An adjective stem is '시끄럽-'

  2) It conjugates with '-기 때문에'

  3) 시끄럽기 때문에

 

 어제 눈이 왔기 때문에 도로가 미끄러울 거예요. (Because it snowed yesterday, the roads might be slippery.)

 *오다 to come

  1) A verb stem is '오-'

  2) Make it as a past tense

  3) A verb stem has vowel 'ㅗ'

  4) It conjugates with '-았다.'

  5) 오았다. 

  6) '오았' can be contracted to '왔'

  7) 왔다.

  8) A verb stem is '왔-'

  9) It conjugates with '-기 때문에'

  10) 왔기 때문에

 

 조금 전 김밥을 먹었기 때문에 배가 고프지 않아요. (Because I ate gimbap a little while ago, I'm not hungry.)

 *먹다 to eat

  1) A verb stem is '먹-'

  2) Make it as a past tense

  3) A verb stem has vowel 'ㅓ'

  4) It conjugates with '-었다.'

  5) 먹었다. 

  6) A verb stem is '먹었-'

  7) It conjugates with '-기 때문에'

  8) 먹었기 때문에

 

 드라마가 너무 재밌기 때문에 도중에 멈출 수 없어요. (Because the drama is so interesting, I can't stop watching it halfway through.)

 *재밌다 fun

  1) An adjective stem is '재밌-'

  2) It conjugates with '-기 때문에'

  3) 재밌기 때문에

 

 조각이 너무나도 아름답기 때문에 관중의 극찬을 받았어요. (Because the sculpture is incredibly beautiful, it received high praise from the audience.)

 *아름답다 beautiful

  1) An adjective stem is '아름답-'

  2) It conjugates with '-기 때문에'

  3) 아름답기 때문에

 

 날씨가 너무 덥기 때문에 하루종일 에어컨을 틀었어요. (Because the weather is so hot, I've turned on the air conditioner all day.) 

 *덥다 hot

  1) An adjective stem is '덥-'

  2) It conjugates with '-기 때문에'

  3) 덥기 때문에
